The Lancia Fulvia 1.3S Coupe conquered the roads in the 1960s and 1970s. The 1.3S version features a 1.3-liter V4 engine delivering 90 horsepower and a 5-speed manual transmission for a sportier driving experience.

The Fulvia 1.3S is renowned for its engine, exceptional handling, and enjoyable driving dynamics. Its compact dimensions, lightweight body, and precise steering make it a true driver’s car. This model is one of the finest examples of 1970s Italian automotive design, with its elegant lines and sporty character.

The car arrived at our workshop for a "quick preparation for Old Timer certification." However, after a thorough check-up, we quickly realized that this would be a much larger project. The body had extensive rust damage and numerous previous repairs done poorly, with several unfinished welds hidden beneath multiple layers of undercoating. We cleaned the chassis using wet sandblasting, and we are currently working on repairing the body. The car’s condition is well reflected in the fact that the subframe also required multiple repairs:

The suspension was completely disassembled, sandblasted, and powder-coated. We had the ball joints refurbished and replaced the rubber bushings with new ones.

The braking system also underwent a full restoration, including cleaning, galvanizing, and reassembly.

We inspected the engine and performed essential maintenance. After removing the valve cover and oil pan, we examined the engine’s main mechanical components. Next, we cleaned and refurbished the carburetor, adjusted the ignition timing, and set the valve clearance.

After the bodywork and painting, it was time to assemble the car. After countless hours of work, we had put together a car that not only looked beautiful on the outside, but also worked perfectly on the inside. After assembly, we cleaned the seats as well.

The assembly was followed by a test drive of more than 100 kilometers to ensure that our customer would receive the car of their dreams in a roadworthy and reliable condition.

Thanks to the thorough, precise, and authentic restoration, the Lancia Fulvia has been certified as a classic car.
